Absolutely. Build from the bottom up, make sure the infrastructure is right, and make sure you have a coherent vision of where you want the club to go. And stop being in thrall to old school managers.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing because virtually everyone was tipping Southampton to go down at the start of the season.
They've had an excellent season but let's not forget that we were matching them up until Christmas.

The one and only point here is that we need a proper manager,younger,more ambitious,more technically gifted,with leadership qualities and Continental.

The point is that we clearly have the foundations to be where Southampton are but need a manager who is capable from pushing on from where we were at Christmas. You don't end up top four at Christmas through pure luck.
Your point that we were level with Chelsea at the start of the season and therefore almost won the league is the actions of a fucking retard. How the fuck do you compare that with being in the top four at Christmas?
Surprising because you normally come across so level headed and normal on here.

I remember many tipping Southampton for relegation at the start of the season after their player and manager exodus.

Completely disagree. We lack the facilities, the structure, the proven recruitment skills, analytics, focus on youth development, continuity from youth to first team, philosophy on the pitch or off it.
The idea that just nicking their manager would solve all our issues is absurd imo.
